Best Friends

That first day in the academy was one that would stick to Sato's mind. Not because strange things happened. Quite the contrary: Unlike the outside world, it was peaceful in the academy. The reason that day stayed with him was because it was the first day he could walk around nearly anonymous, and the first say in a long while that he felt like a human instead of a monster. After that day many more would follow, and Sato would gradually start to realize that he still had a lot to learn. Wandering around for years in a hostile environment such as Exraion had made him careful. Regardless of that, they became best friends. Even though Mente didn't know a thing about Sato's true identity, and know for a whole long while.

Characters are Sato and Mente from the Emion project. 
Mente has actually been in the story for quite some time (since the beginning in 2006, I think) but I don't draw him as often as I should, probably because he's too much of a cute character and I'm not good with cute XD
