I totally forgot to upload this.
The full version of the example pose I used for my workshop at animecon (and the tutorial here).
It's far from perfect, but that's pretty normal... considering I made this just 2 days before the deadline XD)

With the goal of making a dynamic pose on this piece, there are some things you could do to push the pose to be a lot stronger.

The gesture is currently fairly broken up, each leg is doing it's own thing, the pelvis is kind of borken up too, then the torso goes in one direction and each arm goes off on it's own. None of them really lead effectively into another. Look for opportunities to have a flowing line of action through as much of the gesture as possible. In the case of htis pose you could curve the torso more so that a line of action from the knee touching the ground would lead in through the toros and head. Maybe push the lower arm in front of the leg instead of having both arms pulled behing the torso. The more designed elements, the smoke and the scarf are other great opportunities to reinforce that movement and flow and further emphasize the energy of the pose.
