Did I already mention that Sato is awfully bad at fighting?
There's a reason he prefers manipulation and mindbending over the classic way of just using regular energy to pack a punch. His energy field is highly unstable and it easily overloads, causing awful nosebleeds and sometimes even internal bleedings. Not that he really feels it, that same energy is pretty good at blocking the pain, but it's pretty damn dangerous and he knows. It's for that reason that he usually ends battles in the fastest way possible.
