A calm serenity

Neorasa left Mizan island. Their mission was done there. Karim gave Lucy a last friendly smile as they said their goodbye's, but they weren't sad. Both knew that wasn't the last time they would meet. As long as the government wouldn't stop chasing her, there would still be more missions, although hopefully not as intense as this one.

The next day at sunrise the purplish glow in the sky was the only thing that still reminded of the incident the day before, when that light pierced the sky and blinded nearly everybody for a few seconds. The energy of that attack would still be in the air for the next few days to come, but aside from that, everything turned back to normal. 

And Lucy... she returned to being a normal girl. For the time being, that was.

I'm trying to illustrate some stuff from Emion that has been lingering in my mind for far too long. I'm trying to make more full illustrations these days.
